Less than a minutes walk from one of Belfast’s prime shopping locations sits Bootleggers, a medium-sized bar and restaurant. The American style pub is a time capsule back to the prohibition era of the 1920s.

During the 1920s, Bootleggers were famous for producing, distributing and selling alcohol to individuals and speakeasy’s, which were illegal drinking club and bars. Therefore the name really compliments the style of the pub.

The bar is attached to an amazing restaurant that is always busy. So if you wish to visit, get down early unless you don’t mind waiting as there are no bookings available. The menu has a range of burgers, tacos and other American classics to enjoy. There is also a range of vegetarian and vegan items.
