The walkway is 1.4 kilometres long and winds its way through the trees, up to 38 meters above the forest floor. Along the way, you’ll find interactive exhibits that teach you about the forest’s ecology and wildlife. The walkway culminates at a viewing tower, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the Wicklow Mountains. 

Glendalough

Wicklow Way

The Wicklow Way is Ireland’s oldest long-distance walking trail and is also situated within the Wicklow Mountains. You can decide just to hike a portion of the trail as it starts in the village of Clonegal in County Carlow and finishes in Marlay Park, Dublin, passing through the heart of County Wicklow along the way. 

If you decide to complete the whole trail it will take around 7 to 10 days to complete, but there are numerous accommodations peppered throughout the walk.
