There are several significant adults-only Halloween events in Belfast this Halloween, from techno concerts to heart-hammering Zombie Runs. Halloween in Belfast will have all sorts of tricks and treats in store. 

We’ve put together a list of seven adult-only Halloween events in Belfast—a bit like the seven deadly sins! Whether you’re seeking a night filled with dancing and music or an active and intense frightening experience, we’ve got something in store for that freaky Halloween.

The Dark – W5 Halloween event

W5 is hosting an adults-only sci-fi scare experience this Halloween: The Dark. Participants must navigate the darkness to find their way back to safety without being caught by the mysterious shadow that lurks behind them. It’s an intense and thrill-seeking experience like no other. 

When? – Thursday 27 October, 7.00 pm – 11.00 pm. 

Cost? – £15 per person

W5 will also open its bar and serve alcoholic drinks, you know, to settle the nerves. This Halloween event is for horror fans who aren’t easily scared. Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. 

Shine’s 27th Birthday – The Telegraph Building

Release your inner techno demon this Halloween with the sickest tunes and melodies from T78, Alignment, and Juliet Fox. These artists will spellbind the crowd to their rhythms, move in sync with their music, and dance with the devil.

When? Saturday, 29 October, doors open at 9.30 pm. 

Cost? Tickets cost £27.50 + booking fee.

This Halloween event is being held in The Telegraph Building, Belfast. It is a refurbished newspaper factory transformed into a unique music venue. The space has 1200 people, so a crowded night with lots of spooktacular energy is guaranteed. 

Clubland Live – The Arena of Horror Halloween event

Clubland Live is going to take over the SSE Arena, Belfast, with a Halloween special—The Arena of Horror! This is going to be the biggest Clubland Live event yet. With its electronic rhythms and raving dance tunes from the 90s, it will be a great way to celebrate Halloween in classic 90s style. 

When? Saturday, 29 October, doors open at 6.30 pm. 

Cost? Tickets cost £39.50 per person (this includes the booking fee).

Black Parade Halloween event – The Empire

The Empire, located in Botanic Avenue Belfast, is hosting an adults-only Halloween night. It will play classic 00s emo anthems. Let your inner goth out for Halloween and enjoy some rock, grunge, and emo tracks. 

When? Friday 28th October

 All emo classics are perfect for celebrating the dark side of Halloween. Dress up (maybe as your former emo self) and headbang through these classic Halloween tunes. 

Zombie race at Jungle NI (adults only)

If you’re brave enough this Halloween, why not try to escape an onslaught of Zombies? They are behind you on your tail as you attempt to reach the finish line. Participants trek through creepy woodlands, cross muddy trenches and overcome physically challenging obstacles, all while avoiding nearby zombies’ grabbing arms.

Will you save your friends and family, or simply run away to save yourself? 

When? Sunday 9 October, 10.00 am. 

Cost? £37.50 per person.

A dedicated time slot is scheduled for an adults-only Zombie Race due to the intense and scary nature of the experience, so don’t say you haven’t been well warned! However, there are time slots available for teenagers and young children. 

This race is not for the faint-hearted. It will test your physical capabilities and ability to remain calm under pressure. If you aren’t a scaredy cat, you can book here. 

Halloween party in the basement of The Merchant Hotel 

The Merchant Hotel, located in Belfast city centre, has a bar in the hotel’s basement. The bar is called Ollie’s and is situated in what used to be the bank’s old vaults. The historic building provides the perfect atmosphere for spooky Halloween vibes and fang-tastic energy. 

When? Monday 31 October.

Cost? £14 per person.

Dance the night away and enjoy the club’s interactive Halloween entertainment. From hypnotic live DJs to devilish fire breathers, it will be a Halloween party in Belfast that you won’t want to miss.

Escape Annabelle – Belfast City Centre 

What can be more scary than potentially being trapped in a room with a demonic doll and evil spirits? This Halloween, Forbidden Quest has invited you to participate in the escape room challenge – The Dream House. Figure out the clues within 75 minutes and release the evil entity to grant your freedom. 

When? You can book this escape room challenge through the entire month of October. Time slots are available from 10.00 am – 9.30 pm. 

Cost? £20 per person.

This escape room challenge is excellent for anyone wanting to test their thinking and problem-solving abilities. You can enjoy this activity with just 2 players, and it’s suitable for people with varying levels of ability. However, due to the frightening settings and intense nature of the game, this challenge may not be suitable for younger children. 

The Dream House is located in Belfast City Centre, and it’s the perfect way to get into the Halloween mood. You’ll be talking about the game for hours after you have completed it.
