10. Take a walk around Hyde Park

This is definitely one of the places which we would recommend when it comes to the parks to visit in London.

Hyde Park is one of the most famous Royal parks in the city and there are different activities that one could enjoy during the summer days, such as cycling, open water swimming, boating, tennis and horse riding or just relaxing.

Be sure you can check out the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain while you are here or enjoy a bite to eat at the Waterside Cafe and take in the views from the lake.

9.Climb aboard HMS Belfast

HMS Belfast is the most significant surviving Second World War Royal Navy warship that is located in London, just beside the Tower Bridge.

HMS Belfast gives the visitor the permission to go through all the nine decks of the ship and discover the life of the crew on board back them during the time of war.

Hear many powerful stories and history of the ship, people on it and their unique experiences of the iconic ship.

8. Explore the Sea Life London Aquarium

The sea life aquarium has multiple sections from the intense Shark Walk, the Atlantic Coasts section, there is the Ray Lagoon, Seahorse Kingdom, Conservation Cove, Ocean Invaders (jellyfish), Rockpool and Ocean Tunnel.

Through each location, you can see everything from Octopus, Ray’s, Penguins and more. An amazing family day is right here at the Sea Life London Aquarium as you learn all about the fascinating sea creatures.

7. Eat, Drink and shop in Camden Town

Camden Town Markets is a diverse community market of creative sellers, street food traders and independent stores next to the Regent’s Canal.

Camden Town Market is open every day, offering more than 1,000  different shops for people to check out and enjoy themselves.

Not just that but the place also offers visitors places to eat, drink and dance in this historic central London location that you must visit when you can.

6. Experience the view from Sky Gardens

Sky Gardens is London’s highest public garden that offers spectacular views across the London city that is open day and night.

So you get to see the best views of London during the day and see it lit up ad night – It’s so pretty.

Located on 20 Fenchurch Street, the Sky Gardens is a unique enlarge glass dome offering 360-degree views of London over three storeys high. While you are here, you can explore the beautiful landscaped gardens, observation deck and an opened air terrace.

And you can also enjoy some food and drinks at the different restaurants and bars located here, makes for the perfect night out.

5. Enjoy the scenery at Big Ben

One of the most recognised attractions in London is the Big Ben, that many locals and tourist want to check out when they are in the city.

It’s situated at the north end of the Palace of Westminster and is also just across London Eye.

At the moment it is undergoing some construction but you can still enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding this iconic feature of London. Hopefully, it won’t be too long until it’s restored to its full glory.

Buckingham Palace is located in the City of Westminster which was originally known as Buckingham House.

The palace is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality and it has been a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and mourning.

3. Enjoy authentic Asian cuisine in Chinatown

One of the things that add to the beauty of this place is its location, Chinatown is located in the heart of London so you won’t need to travel far to experience being in a part inspired by East Asia.

Chinatown is close to Regents and Oxford Streets, so when you go out for a walk or to do some shopping, you could then come here to experience some amazing Asian cuisine that you can’t pass by.

There are over 100 restaurants located here so you won’t be short on options and the area hosts a variety of events throughout the year that’s worth checking out.

Next on our list of the top ten things to do in London is to visit the Borough Market. It has been renown as old of Britain’s oldest and most popular food markets that you need to visit.

For over 100 years it has been serving locals and tourists and its incredible heritage is a huge part of the appeal.

The Market is rich in history and a place where you can try authentic home-grown British foods.

1. Take a ride on the London Eye

Number one on our list of the top 10 things to do in London, is the popular attraction that is the London Eye.

No trip to London is complete without seeing and even being on a London Eye trip/tour. On a good day you can see all around the South Bank of the River Thames.

Sometimes called the Big Wheel – or the Millennium Wheel – when it was first installed back in 1999. It has become an incredibly popular attraction that tourist and locals love.
