There are lots of people who are Harry Potter lovers; they have read all the books and seen all the movies. The only thing they are still looking forward to is actually visiting places where Harry Potter filmed and shop in London at Platform 9 3/4.

It is not just about the shop from where admirers could get different products like clothes, books, mugs, T-shirts, notebooks and more of the things that appeared in the movie. But it’s also about the tour that people could go through in the Warner Bros Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter, which offers the visitors the opportunity to step into the authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the secrets of Harry Potter film series.

The Harry Potter Shop You Need To Visit

Inside this place, you will see the original stone floor of the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall, encounter animated creatures and wander down Diagon Alley. This is one of the beautiful stories that one could walk through while visiting London because it will show the visitors the incredible British talent and imagination that brought this movie series out to the real world.

There are lots of products in the Harry Potter shop which one could buy as a souvenir to take home or even just for the love carried for the movie series. There are shirts, T-shirts, key-chains, tea towels, card holders, necklaces, mugs and so much more.

Platform 9  3/4

Platform 9 3/4 is located at King’s Cross Station, where visitors can take pictures with the iconic trolley from the film. This trolley is accessible all day and at all times, without having to pay anything in order to take a photo with it. The interesting thing is that you don’t just stand to take a picture with the trolley, but you could also make it more fun with wrapping a scarf around your neck which is also available there. And yes you could then purchase this scarf in the shop next door! There is a professional photographer who is available from 9 AM till 9 PM to get the best photo. The only thing you should pay attention to is the festive days and the school holidays because it will be very busy and you’ll need to come early.

Kings Cross Station

In the movie series, King’s Cross is where students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry catch the Hogwarts Express. In the Wizarding world, Harry and his friends get to the platform by dashing through a brick wall between platforms 9 and 10. Today, in the real King’s Cross station, platforms 9 and 10 are separated by tracks and that’s why you will find a platform 9 3/4 on the wall in the station concourse.

This is not the only interesting shop that is related to a specific movie or character found in London and attract lots of tourists and visitors to it. But from those which we have been to and which were also filled with different products related to the theme of the place, such as Shreks Adventure Shop, M&M’s World and BFI (British Film Institution) Shop.
